The Procedure

After Surgery
Once the vaginal surgery is finished a tutor is placed inside the vagina (soft, flexible and waterproof) to hold its shape as it heals. During the first week the patient should maintain it 24 hours a day and during the second and third weeks only for sleep.
After surgery you will need 24 to 48 hours of rest (you can walk). The postoperative period lasts 3 to 4 weeks and you will not have a lot of pain but a little trouble on keeping certain positions such as sitting. You can have sexual intercourses again after approximately 40 days.
