Hallux Valgus / Bunions Surgery in Argentina

Hallux Valgus is the scientific term for the known deformity of the great toe (bunions). Hallux Valgus can be congenital in origin or appear during adolescence, but it occurs more frequently during adulthood.

Procedure

It is a minimally invasive surgical technique to correct forefoot deformities and maintain the forefoot biomechanically functional.

With percutaneous surgery, the incision is minimal (half centimeter maximum) and through it, instruments such as scalpels and surgical burs are inserted. Using these instruments and assisted by an x-ray machine, we make the necessary surgical corrections on the deformed bones of the foot.

Benefits

  • Minimum Pain
  • Does not require hospitalization
  • Local Anaesthesia
  • 60 to 90 minutes of duration
  • Immediate ambulation after the surgery
